Fiddlers on the Hoof are UK based which takes touring productions to India as part of an initiative to promote the arts and theatre in India.

All productions use local talent and many provide opportunities for teenagers. The production is a mix of professional and amatuer players. Further details, including the profiles of the key players, can be downloaded from the links to the left.

 

Fiddlers on the Hoof seek additional sponsorship funding for their on-going work. Already backed by The World Heritage Fund key existing backers include Air India, The Hindu and Le Meridian Group.

 

 

Musical Express
The latest production which tours Chennai and Banglore (7th to 22nd July 2007) has already generated considerable public interest. The sponsorship package available covers:

•  Advertising on Fliers and Hoardings and mention in all press coverage
•  A mention as sponsor at press conferences and interviews
•  The opportunity to attend the press conferences
•  Their name on all the tickets and in the souvenir programme
•  Acknowledgement from the stage

In addition, they await confirmation from TV companies regarding promotion of the event in India.

In the UK press, radio and TV coverage has been secured in Northern Ireland, and they are currently putting together proposals for the BBC Asian Network and Raaj Radio.
