Threaded Rods - Channel Nuts - Anchors - Fasteners

 

SIL offer a range of threaded products, notably threaded rods and channel nuts to the construction industry.


This privately owned company in Ludhiana exports to a variety of customers in Europe, the USA and Middle East.

Production is flexible with a range of steel grades, finishes offered to US and European standards with Metric and Imperial threads options. Production capacity is 3,000 tons per annum of threaded rods with channel nuts, anchors and fasteners to suit.

Threaded Rods
Threaded rods are produced in steel grades 4.6, 4.8, 5.6 and 8.8 in standard lengths on 1m, 2m, and 3m for metric and 3', 6', 10' and 12' for imperial.

Threads are rolled rather than cut and available in diameters from 6mm to 48mm or ¼" to 2". The rods may be fully or partially threaded as metric, BSW, UNC, UNF or UNEF (V Form) profiles.

Channel Nuts and Flat Plate Brackets
Channel nuts are produced to BS 6946 and plated to BS3382 part 2 for use with all 41mm channel. Sizes are M6 to M12 as standard with others on request.

Options include:

  • Mild Steel Zinc Plated (ZP)
  • Mild Steel Hot Dip Galvanised (HDG)
  • Stainless Steel - several grades inc spring
  • Long & Short Spring and plain nuts
  • Oversized thread available to compensate for galvanised coating

Standard Flat Plate Brackets are produced from 6mm mild steel with 14mm diameter holes to BS970 and BS 1449. Finishes are ZP or HDG although others are available on request.

Anchor Bolts
Construction anchor expansion bolt options include:

SIL have a proven export record. Pricing is FOB as standard but C&F is available on request. Full Container Loads (FCL) are preferred but LCL is available on request.
